Microsoft's Project Helix isn't a console in the traditional sense — leaks describe it as a Windows PC with Xbox certification on top, capable of running both Xbox and Steam libraries natively, with no custom APU. Xbox VP Jason Ronald and GM Chris Charla fronted a partial reveal this week ahead of a full unveiling expected at the June 7 Xbox Showcase. There's just standard x86 with Microsoft's software layer doing the heavy lifting.
